The Classical Guitar No.60 from 1979 is a distinctive rekinto-style instrument crafted by Katsumi Matano. Featuring a solid cedar top with a dense grain pattern, the guitar’s sides and back are made of beautifully striped rosewood, complemented by a hard mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. This model is designed to produce a bright, resonant tone with a rich depth, enhanced by its carefully engineered construction.
Despite some scratches and wear consistent with its age, the guitar remains in good overall condition and includes a used hard case. The string length measures 55 cm, with a total length of 87.5 cm, and it is currently strung with trial strings, so restringing with rekinto or alto guitar strings is recommended for optimal performance.
