The National RX-5600 Boombox is a vintage stereo radio cassette recorder in good condition. The radio functions properly, and the cassette player supports playback, fast forward, and rewind, though the recording function has not been tested. The right speaker produces sound at a lower volume compared to the left, and there is some static noise when adjusting the volume.
This unit shows signs of wear including marks, stains, scratches, and some persistent dirt on the tuning indicator plastic. The MIC MIXING knob is missing its top but remains operable. Measuring approximately 53.5 cm wide, 32.5 to 39.5 cm high, and 13 cm deep, it weighs about 7 kg.
