The ONKYO TX-NR838 is a 7.1-channel AV amplifier delivering a maximum output of 230W per channel at 6Ω, designed to provide high-quality sound performance. This mid-range model features advanced audio technologies such as VLSC noise reduction on the front channels and a Pure Direct Analog Path that disables unnecessary digital circuits during analog playback. It supports network audio playback including DSD 5.6MHz, WAV, FLAC, and various other formats, along with internet radio streaming.
Equipped with seven HDMI inputs and two outputs, the TX-NR838 supports 4K/60p video pass-through with HDCP 2.2 compliance and includes Marvel’s Qdeo video processing. Wireless connectivity is available via built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing control through the Onkyo Remote app and wireless streaming from compatible devices.
