The PENTAX istDS is a digital SLR camera released in November 2004 as the second model in the ist series. It features an updated memory card system, switching from CF cards to SD cards, and the firmware has been updated to support both SD and SDHC cards. This model comes with the smc PENTAX-DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL lens, which shows minimal internal dust and slight haze that does not affect image quality.
