Final price includes applicable taxes, import duties and complimentary shipping.
The National T-40 is a vintage 2-band (SW/MW) transistor radio released in March 1960. This early model features an 8-transistor design and is recognized in American radio collectors' guides. The radio is in very good condition with only minor signs of wear, including slight discoloration on the front metal grille, while the antenna extends fully without bends.
The volume control operates smoothly, though the band switch may occasionally cause reception issues on the SW side. It receives Radio NIKKEI on SW and major stations in the Kanto region on MW. The radio requires four AA batteries, which are not included, and the battery compartment is accessed by loosening the back cover screws with a coin.
