Sony TPS-L2 Cassette Player
Final price includes applicable taxes, import duties and complimentary shipping.
The Sony TPS-L2 Cassette Player, produced around 1979, represents an early model in portable audio technology. This unit is in fair condition, showing signs of wear such as scratches and some paint loss, particularly on the silver plastic parts and aluminum surfaces. Despite these cosmetic imperfections, the internal components have been carefully cleaned and serviced, including gear inspection, motor maintenance, and replacement of the rubber belt and pinch roller, ensuring reliable operation.
This cassette player functions smoothly with both battery and AC power options, supporting playback, rewind, fast forward, and stop without issues. Stereo sound is well maintained with adjustable left and right output levels, and the device includes a yellow HOT LINE button for temporary volume reduction and an external microphone for ambient sound capture. A carrying case is included, though it shows some deformation and aging. This model offers a nostalgic listening experience with stable and clear audio performance.
