Leica Prime Lenses 1St F2 8
Final price includes applicable taxes, import duties and complimentary shipping.
The Leica Summicron 35mm F2 prime lens is a rare first lot from 1958, produced in Wetzlar, Germany. This early version features an 8-element design and is among the initial units of Leica's renowned Summicron 35mm series. It includes original brass front and early M-mount rear caps with detailed markings.
Despite some scratches and signs of wear consistent with its age, the lens remains in generally good condition. The aperture and helicoid operate smoothly, and the infinity stop functions precisely. Minor haze is present under backlighting but does not significantly affect normal shooting performance.
