This rotary assembly is designed for trombone enthusiasts and collectors. It was originally intended to modify Yamaha custom trombone F attachments, such as those from the 8420 and 8425 series, by adapting the rotary valve to a Conn-style wrap similar to models 648 or 643. The assembly combines parts from discontinued models, including a rotary valve joint from the 8425G2 and components compatible with Zeno designs.

Although the project to complete this modification was never finalized, the assembly includes a rotary casing with re-drilled screw holes and a damper rubber base repositioned for ball joint compatibility. The rotary cap is from a Zeno trombone, and while the lever is not included, it is likely compatible with current Zeno levers. This item is new and unused, offering a rare opportunity to acquire valuable parts for specialized trombone customization.
