The Yamaha MJC8 MIDI Junction Controller is a versatile 8-channel MIDI matrix switcher designed for routing and distributing MIDI signals efficiently. It features eight MIDI input/output terminals, with the upper row fixed as outputs (OUT1-8) and the lower row configurable as inputs (1-8) or mute, allowing flexible signal distribution and memory settings.
This unit transmits MIDI channel information unchanged from input to output but does not support merging multiple MIDI inputs or individual channel manipulation. The controller has been tested for power and basic operation and shows some signs of wear, including scratches and marks on the surface. It is sold with the power cord included.
