This Yamaha SR aluminum tank was purchased over 30 years ago and has been stored unused in a warehouse since then. It features noticeable scratches, marks, and wear consistent with its age, but no severe dents are present. The tank is believed to be a Brooklands model, despite bearing a Norton marking.
Although the fuel petcock is missing and fuel leakage has not been tested, the tank includes a button-release cap that opens by flipping up. With some polishing, the aluminum surface can be restored to a cleaner appearance, making it suitable for cafe racer customization projects.
